Showed up at American Fork with the team and immediately did some jog arounds just to wake up the legs.  After that I sat around for about 3 hours patiently waiting for my race to start.  Cheering on teammates and such.  When our second girl got the baton, I started my warm-up.  2 miles with a couple of bursts of high cadence and increased tempo.  Race started and our lead guy struggled a little, we were pretty far behind by the time I was given the baton.  I had a lot of ground top make up, I think we were 36th out of 39 when I started my leg.  I caught 4 people and we ended up 32nd out of 39.  Not bad, I ran a 11:11 and honestly I am dissapointed with the time.  Could have gone low 10:50s if I had someone to run with and could find a constant rhythm.  Until the next race.

took today easy because of soreness in my back, went 4 easy miles on the road and then took two miles on the stationary bike. During my 4 easy I did some 400 pick ups. Increase of cadence. Feelin good today, stride felt good, arms were turning well.

easy run at practice, ran from west up to memory grove, up city creek to 11th avenue over to I street. All the way back, We ran 7:30 miles. Felt ok, rhythm was a little off

easy run today because I have a meet tomorrow, ran from west to the children's museum, around a mile and a half. Did a fast paced sprint workout just to get the legs moving. Felt good but struggled a little with getting full turnover, I would shorten my stride every once and a while. Got a new Garmin225 watch for my birthday, love it. New heart rate and gps.

Today was our pre-region meet at Layton Commons.  The teams that were present are: Davis High School, Layton High School, West High School, Granger High School, Viewmont High and Syracuse High.  I took 14th in the boys varsity race with a 2-mile time of 10:38.  Warmup of 1.5 and cooldown of 1.5. Felt GOOODD

Today, before school I did an easy paced, medium mile run, around 3.5.  During practive we went 2.5 easy and 1 hard.  My left calf is in a lot of pain, not quite sure why.
